Sign Please

I get a kick out of signs. Old ones new ones but mostly older, lighted or not. Some immediately evoke thoughts of times gone by and stories that could be told. Most of these pictures were not taken to be good but to show others. A couple you may have seen at OTC and I like the rabbit ears. That is a major icon for the Steamboat Springs area. The Park the Rio the Raton and the Moon Glow are here. If anyone has seen any of these tell me please.

Folsom, NM.  I like this picture. A Folsom point was found near by.

I bet this looks real good at night. I like this. Not the picture the design.

Walsenburg,CO. There are all kinds of thoughts about this place and all speculation. It is not open.

Where You Don't Want To Go If There's A Posse After Ya

Box canyons is not the place you want to be. Here you can see where these are. Remember you can double click on these. When I do that it's like I can jump into the screen and be back there.

I liked the way this turned out.

What's left of an outbuilding from the people who ranched this. They would keep their pigs in these canyons.

An orchid. These were all taken in Dinosaur National Monument.

Big Blue

The fellow was nearing the end of his life. What a specimen and to me some of these photos are striking and when you zoom in on them it becomes even better. Plus this is my favorite color. That might have something to do with it.

A Few Recent Flowers

Right now the flowers are going crazy both wild and other. It is so pretty. Even though several of these  pictures are similar each is still fun to look at. Saturday early in the morning I think there is going to be a serious effort on taking pictures of  flowers.
