Looking at Puerto Vallarta Jalisco maybe five miles south.

On this blogger site one can click on all pictures except for the header above two times each time making them larger which is a feature I like because it gives you the ability to really look very close at all kinds of things not readily seen.

Art On A Ledge Too

This was fun to find. I think this video does better than the pictures as the ledge is too narrow to get very far away. There were one set of old foot prints. No many are going to make the effort to get to these and others that I came across let alone look for and find out of the way presents left from the past.

  3. Thanks for coming by Linda and I very much enjoyed our conversation this morning. I will be back and I look forward to stopping in to chat.

I do know how you feel about this Teresa. I've watched this a bunch and think it may be one of the better things I've done. I feel the same as you as the weather is so crappy I want to be somewhere else.

  4. Hi Fly: That rock art's fascinating stuff in a place where the history of human beings scratching on rocks is a long one and human migrations such a series of people over-running other people, claiming the real estate, staking their claims, then sometime later being overrun by someone unexpected beating on the door.

I used to find messages scratched on canyon walls in places I'd have otherwise been tempted to think I was the first man ever to see. I used to carry a rock art field manual around with me just to try to fathom who left the messages, when, and why.
