Not much going on these days. Seems like slim pickings. These are recent pictures and a couple have used before. There is nothing here that reaches much over 3/4 of an inch. The green thingy with it's antenna is the exception.
Another red spider -WHAT!! Plus it's a jumper.
Please click on this and take a closer look at the eyes. This ain't right.
The first time I saw one of these it fooled me twice completely. Just what it's supposed to do. This picture is not representative of that ability for this moth.
What do you call this guy. "The Wrapper"?? It appears it is actually wrapped in cloth. I am fairly sure this is the fellow who takes on much more fearsome looking opponents and wins.

The wings are awesome in the pic of the green one. My favorite pic is the one on the screen...cool picture. I must try some macro again.
ReplyDeleteYes you must and since that is not my picture George just got credit.
ReplyDeleteAaaargh. That last one is freaking me out a bit. Good pics.
ReplyDeleteScary spider.

You are tooo kind Linda.
DeleteThank you.
Great macros (I like creepy-crawlies)~ I really like the way your pictures enlarge -- they all deserve a closer look~
ReplyDeleteThanks Sallie. I just think being able to do that is a huge positive but not many others enable that feature on Blogger sites. I've seen the same on some Word Press sites as well but not very often.
DeleteThat green bug is sort of cute but the rest of them---UGLY, especially jumpy spiders! :)
ReplyDeleteNice part about the jumping spiders is that they are very seldom in the hose. I assume all the others eat them. It gets old but I'm able to keep them at bay.
