Have not been taking many good pictures but you can get the idea. Most of these have been played with a bit.
These people had the best homemade sausage you wouldn't believe. On the expensive side and that's okay. Next week as I have to eat what's in the fridge now.
So you get 4.4lbs of tomatoes for a buck. These were a different variety than what I've been buying so I got several to try. A bag of these red/green peppers is 80 cents. It's 500 colones to a dollar.

So pretty and colorful and now I'm hungry - for fresh produce which we won't see till like JULY!
ReplyDeleteSo, are you living in or near town?
ReplyDeleteI picked up two pineapples and am hoping the tomatoes are better. Not as cheap as it was in san Isidro but still okak.
ReplyDeleteTwo miles to town center where this is at and most everything else. I walk it almost every day.
I would LOVE to go shopping there. It has to be ever so much fun and full of wonderful things to experience. I haven't walked in days. Really walked...a warm up is happening here. I'm hoping to get out of the house tomorrow!

Nothing but sun in your forecast and about 32 for highs. Very nice for walking and even with that a person can break one.
DeleteThe fresh veggies look wonderful. I think it is fun to visit these small vendors. Great photos. have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou too and thanks. The tomato's were better than the others I've been eating.
ReplyDeleteThe best way to get the feel of a new country and its culture is to go to the local out door market.
ReplyDeleteAll that walking, you must be in better shape than when you left.
